Accessibility statement
We aim for level AA of WCAG 2.2. This page says what has been done for that, and what has not been checked yet.
What has been done
- Semantic HTML with headings in a logical order, and a skip link to the content.
- The whole site can be operated with a keyboard; focus is visible.
- Text scales when you zoom in or out, to at least 200 per cent, without loss of content.
- Colour contrast for text meets the AA threshold; colour never carries meaning on its own.
- No moving or flashing elements, and no auto-playing media.
- Every page declares its language, so screen readers choose the right pronunciation.
- The site works without JavaScript, which also helps with older assistive technology.
What has not been checked yet
This statement rests on our own assessment, not on a third-party audit. Testing with screen readers, a keyboard test with real users and a full WCAG walkthrough are still planned.
We therefore call this site partially conformant: we have applied the known rules, but not everything has been independently verified.
